A bouchon’s new menu
Dish stills, staff portraits and a short film for a traditional Lyon restaurant.
We shot during two lunch services, taking each plate as it left the pass.
The portraits were made in the kitchen between orders.

Two recent jobs
Lyon is two rivers, old silk workshops and the best tables in France. We photograph and film food, textiles and the people behind them, in a studio on Rue Mercière and in the traboules around it. All work
A silk weaver’s archive
Fabric stills, loom details and a process film for a Croix-Rousse silk workshop.
Each silk was photographed flat and draped, checked against the swatch on a calibrated screen.
The film follows one bolt from thread to finished cloth.
