About Ateglobal

Treat a plate like a portrait and a portrait like a plate: with time, care and good light.

Product, silk bolt on the loom

Ateglobal is a photo and video studio on Rue Mercière, between the Saône and the Rhône. We work for chefs, bouchons, wine estates, silk weavers, textile brands and the agencies who represent them.

Food is half of what we do. We shoot in working kitchens, during service when we can, and in our own studio kitchen when a dish needs more time.

The other half is textiles and craft. Silk, wool and leather need careful light to show weave and colour, and we photograph them next to the real sample on a calibrated screen.

Stills and film come out of one plan and one grade. A menu, a lookbook and a short film can all be made in the same two days.
